Please join your fellow APO members from across Region F as we come together for our first in-person conferences since 2019! We will be hosting TWO Sections Conferences, at Illinois State University for chapters in downstate Illinois (Sections F-1 and F-3) and at the University of Illinois at Chicago for chapters in the greater Chicagoland area (Sections F-2 and F-4).
Why Should I Attend?
It’s actually useful!
We’ve heard you – the “usual” conference format was not engaging and needed a big change. So our new sessions will be less of a lecture and more interactive, with actual takeaways in the form of policies, plans, and information you can bring back to your chapter to actually USE. Programming is tailored specifically to address the concerns chapters have as we come out of the pandemic and adjust to a new kind of normal.
We will feed you!
A breakfast snack, full lunch, and afternoon snack are included in your registration.
It’s cheap!
Early registration is as low as $15 for pledges and $20 for actives and advisors, with the region subsidizing almost half of the actual cost of the conference. Also, this is a ONE-DAY event, with check-in at 9:00 am and wrapping up by 6:00 pm. That means there’s no need for a pricey hotel stay, and you’ll be back home at a reasonable hour to enjoy the rest of your weekend.
So register today!
About the Conference
The overall theme of this conference is about adapting to and overcoming the changes brought forth by the COVID-19 pandemic. Our programming for the day is centered around giving our chapters and students the tools they need to make Alpha Phi Omega better equipped to succeed in this “new normal” of college life.

Conference Topics
This year’s workshops and sessions are being developed to be more interactive, more engaging, and more useful, with real-world takeaways and information you’ll want to share with your chapter. Since there are more sessions than timeslots, we recommend bringing plenty of people from your chapter and making a plan to divide and conquer at each session you find useful.
